Where is this book in the Library?

To find a book in the Library, you need to know the collection and the call number. All of the locations in Steen Library begin with 'SFA' (e.g., 'SFA Stacks').

Most collections are fairly small, but the 'Stacks' cover the 3rd and 4th floors. This map will help you find different collections in the Library, and call numbers within the Stacks.

What if the location starts with NPL instead of SFA?

That item is located in the Nacogdoches Public Library at 1112 North Street (across from Kroger). SFA students are allowed to check materials out from the Public Library with their student ID card.

Where are the call numbers beginning with I, O, W, X, and Y?

These letters are not listed in the 'Stacks' submenu above, because they are not used in the LC call number system. If you have a call number beginning with I, X, or Y, it is probably in the Documents or Texas Documents collection. A call number beginning with the letter O or number 0 will probably be in the Curriculum Collection. W is not used in any of the classification systems we currently use.
